To help the students understand the importance of table manners and etiquettes, which are key traits of personal grooming, S.D. Planets organized the *Table Manners and Etiquettes Activity on Tuesday, 19th November 2024*.
As a part of the activity, students were asked to bring a butter knife, spoon and fork along with their tasty meals. This was aimed at inculcating the habit of using proper utensils during meals.
The students enjoyed the *”at-restaurant” feel*, with a realistic dining setup where they sat across benches. They also learnt essential manners such as:
– *Speaking politely*
– *Chewing with their mouth closed*
– *Spreading their napkins*
– *Eating without spilling their food*
This engaging activity provided a *hands-on learning experience* and helped students to achieve the desired learning outcomes effectively.
