At S.D. Planets, we kickstarted the month of  July with the “Shapes of the Week” for our preschoolers. Learning about shapes helps kids to recognize and sort what they see, as well as grasp ideas like size, where things are, and how they’re positioned, which helps them to make sense of the world. The shapes we focused on were circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, ovals, diamonds, and many more.

Our little ones had a blast dressing up in bright colours and bringing in objects and snacks of different shapes from home to show their friends. Through this fun way of playing and learning, the children had a great time discovering different shapes and real izing how shapes are everywhere in their daily surroundings
